Job summary

TRIA is seeking a Contracts Supervisor for Groundworks & Tree Services to lead commercial and operational delivery across live projects. You will balance client relationships, site oversight and tender work, taking projects from first site visit through to pricing, programme and delivery, split between site and office.

The role requires experience in groundworks, civils, landscaping or arboriculture, strong pricing skills, and confidence in dealing with clients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in groundworks, civils, landscaping or arboriculture.
• Strong pricing skills and attention to detail.
• Confident dealing with clients.
• Good knowledge of construction health and safety (CDM 2015).

Responsibilities

• Manage key accounts and act as the main point of contact.
• Carry out site visits to assess access, ground conditions, trees, services and safety risks.
• Understand client requirements and draft scopes of work and tenders.
• Estimate project duration, plant and manpower needs.
• Oversee live contracts to keep them safe, on programme and on budget.

Job description

You’ll be the commercial and operational lead on your contracts, balancing client relationships, site oversight and tender work. That means overseeing delivery of live projects, developing new opportunities with key accounts, and shaping accurate scopes, programmes and pricing. The balance between site and office shifts with the demands of the workload.

The role

About you

• Confident dealing with clients
• Good knowledge of construction health and safety (CDM 2015)
• Full UK driving licence
• Desirable: SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS card, knowledge of BS 5837 and TPOs
