Job summary

Catering is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer on a contract basis in Hemel Hempstead outskirts. The role offers £47.00 – £50.00 per hour (outside IR35) and requires a minimum of 10 years’ UK structural engineering experience in a consultancy.

The successful candidate will manage projects from initial design through to completion with a high degree of autonomy and strong communication with clients and professionals. Immediate start with a growing consultancy and a strong project pipeline.

Senior Structural Engineer – Contract

A successful and well-established consultancy based on the outskirts of Hemel Hempstead is looking to appoint a Senior Structural Engineer on a contract basis following a strong run of recent project wins.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced structural engineer who is comfortable working with a high degree of autonomy and can take responsibility for projects from initial design through to completion.

The successful candidate will have at least 10 years’ UK structural engineering experience, gained within a consultancy environment, and will have worked across a diverse range of projects. Experience within the data centre and industrial sectors is particularly desirable, although a broad project portfolio will also be valued.

The role will involve providing senior technical input, undertaking structural design and calculations, liaising with clients and other professionals, and helping to deliver projects to programme and budget.

Candidates should have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills and the confidence to operate independently at senior engineer level.

This is an immediate contract opportunity with a growing consultancy and a strong pipeline of work.
