Job summary

Catering is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer on a contract basis in Hemel Hempstead outskirts. The role offers £47.00 – £50.00 per hour (outside IR35) and requires a minimum of 10 years’ UK structural engineering experience in a consultancy.

The successful candidate will manage projects from initial design through to completion with a high degree of autonomy and strong communication with clients and professionals. Immediate start with a growing consultancy and a strong project pipeline.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' UK structural engineering experience in a consultancy.
• Experience in data centre and industrial sectors desirable.
• Able to work with a high degree of autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical input and undertake structural design and calculations.
• Liaise with clients and other professionals to deliver projects.
• Deliver projects to programme and budget and operate independently at senior engineer level.
