Job summary

Lorien is seeking two Contract Paralegals for a major financial services regulatory change programme in London, Birmingham or Edinburgh. The role is hybrid, with 2-3 days on-site, focusing on reviewing and amending commercial and supplier contracts to ensure regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with legal, procurement and supplier management teams, manage multiple reviews, and deliver updates within tight timelines. Start ASAP, contract until December 2026 with possible extension.

Qualifications

• Proven paralegal with a focus on commercial contracts.
• Experience reviewing, analysing and amending commercial agreements.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Experience in legal, procurement, contracts or supplier management environment.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts against new regulatory requirements.
• Identify provisions needing amendment and draft updates.
• Collaborate with central contracts team for timely remediation.
• Support procurement and supplier management during reviews.
• Maintain records of reviews, amendments and progress.
• Escalate legal and commercial risks when identified.
