Job summary

Network Support Engineer is required for a 12 month contract in Chester with hybrid onsite requirements. The role pays £550 p/d inside IR35 and does not provide sponsorship.

This client operates in the financial services sector. You will collect, normalize and onboard network telemetry data into Splunk and approved analytics platforms, work with Network Engineering to understand device behaviours, health indicators and performance signals across routing, switching, wireless and SD-WAN, and

Qualifications

• Enterprise network infrastructure knowledge: routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN.
• Hands-on Splunk data ingestion, searches, dashboards and alerts.
• Experience with SNMP, syslog, telemetry streams, APIs and device metrics.

Responsibilities

• Collect and onboard network telemetry data into analytics platforms.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering to monitor device health and performance signals across networks.
