Our client is a renowned manufacturing business, enjoying UK dominance and market leading status in their sector. An opportunity has arisen for a Contract Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to start immediately on shift to cover peak periods.

Key Responsibilities – Contract Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Responsible for planned and reactive maintenance and technical troubleshooting to ensure maximum line efficiency.
• Perform fault-finding and diagnosis.
• Attend to breakdowns onsite, ensuring rapid response to plant equipment and machinery failures.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on automation machinery including pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, and robots.
• Achieve plant uptime and maintenance KPI’s through scheduled, preventative, and predictive maintenance.
• Ensure the efficient running of a continuous process, moving and packing high-quality products.
• Continuously improve equipment and system performance to support site development.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans.
