Questech Recruitment Ltd, on behalf of our client, seeks a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias to maintain and improve production equipment in an FMCG environment in Leeds. The role covers reactive and preventative maintenance, along with project work on new machinery installations.

You will be expected to respond to breakdowns, perform high-quality repairs, and participate in planned maintenance to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifikationen

• NVQ Level 3 in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Very good mechanical skills and experience.
• Experience in FMCG environments is essential.
• Proficient written, numerical and verbal communication skills.
• Good computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Aufgaben

• Respond to breakdowns to restore production quickly and safely.
• Attend breakdowns promptly and repair to high quality standards.
• Carry out regular machine maintenance to reduce downtime and complete required paperwork.
• Engage in CI projects, installation and commissioning of new machinery.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance according to the site schedule.
• Coordinate with other departments to minimise operational impact.

We're recruiting on behalf of our client who are looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias.

The Person:

• Worked as a Maintenance Electrician / Maintenance Technician / Mult Skilled Maintenance Engineer.
• NVQ Level 3 Trained - Electrical Engineering
• Must have very good Mechanical skills and experience
• Trustworthy, Motivated, Problem Solver
• Experienced working in an FMCG environment
• Proficient written, numerical, and verbal skills
• Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office family of products
• Experience of Maintenance Management Systems & software.

The Role:

• Reactive maintenance - Reacting to breakdowns to ensure production is back running as quick and safely as possible.
• Attend breakdowns promptly and make repairs to the best quality
• Complete regular machine maintenance programmes to reduce packing downtime and complete relevant paperwork.
• Project Work (CI / Installation / New Machinery commissioning.)
• Planned Preventative Maintenance: Ensure planned maintenance is carried out in line with the site schedule.
• Liaising with other departments to ensure tasks are completed with little to no impact on operations.
• Manage Health and Safety: Ensure all engineering work carried out in the value stream meets the requirements of Quality, Safety, Health & Environment policies & procedures.

The shift pattern will be Monday to Friday: 06:00am - 14:00pm / 14:00pm - 22:00pm / 22:00pm - 06:00am

The salary will be between £56,000pa - £58,000pa (Dependant on experience)
