Job summary

The Coal Authority is seeking a commercially minded Contracts Manager with practical NEC4 PSC and ECC experience to support procurement, delivery and management of major environmental and infrastructure projects in the Mansfield area.

You will work closely with project managers, engineers and technical specialists, providing clear commercial advice, managing contractual risk and ensuring contracts are robust, compliant and deliver value for money. Hybrid 2 days in Mansfield.

Qualifications

• Experience of drafting, administering or managing NEC contracts, particularly NEC4 PSC or ECC.
• Strong commercial judgement and contract management skills.
• Experience supporting procurement and tender evaluations.
• Ability to explain complex contractual issues clearly to non-commercial colleagues.
• A collaborative approach and strong stakeholder management skills.

You'll work closely with project managers, engineers and technical specialists, providing clear commercial advice and ensuring contracts are robust, compliant and deliver value for money.
