Job summary

Turner and Townsend in Scotland is seeking a Director-level commercial contracts specialist for energy and natural resources projects. The role covers governance across the contract lifecycle and requires three days on site or at a client office.

The position manages contract values from £20 million to £500 million, oversees commercial staff, negotiates prices, drafts and interprets NEC/FIDIC agreements, and ensures value for money.

Qualifications

• Degree in supply chain management, engineering, business or law.
• MCIPS preferred but not essential.
• Experience with financial analysis and reporting for project budgets.
• Understanding of commercial governance on large capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Governance across the contract lifecycle and delivery phase.
• Lead commercial staff and manage project budgets.
• Draft and interpret commercial contracts using NEC/FIDIC.
• Negotiate contract prices with substantiation.
