Job Description

Heathrow's award-winning Procurement team is looking to expand its capabilities in Learning & Development sourcing and contract management. We seek a Contract Manager to support the Corporate Services agenda across Heathrow's functional directorates, building strong relationships and delivering 'best-in-class' procurement.

This exciting role involves managing a Learning & Development annual spend of at least £7m with strategic partners and suppliers. You will work closely with colleagues to implement Heathrow's Learning & Development strategy aligned with business priorities, identify value-adding opportunities, develop robust sourcing strategies, and manage risks through effective contracting and supplier relationship management.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead and influence strategic and tactical sourcing activities for the Learning & Development procurement category, ensuring alignment with business and market strategies.
  2. Challenge business plans and strategy documents to maximize commercial opportunities and mitigate risks.
  3. Engage with the external market on procurement matters such as new commercial models, market shifts, innovations, and trends; bring best practices to embed within operations.
  4. Support or lead processes for SRM, performance management, benefits, savings, and continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with contracts, regulations, and exit strategies.
  5. Manage contract and supplier relationships to optimize commercial and contractual benefits.
Qualifications
  • Experience in Indirect or Professional services procurement.
  • Strong partnering, influencing, and negotiation skills to build relationships.
  • Experience with various procurement and contracting models, including reimbursement/pricing models.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with effective communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-focused with an understanding of Heathrow's business needs.

Working Location
