Job summary

HAMILTON ROWE RECRUITMENT SERVICES LTD in Berkshire is seeking a Contract Manager to join a rapidly growing building services provider. The role manages a commercial portfolio, sets KPIs and SLAs, and leads a team to deliver on projects.

You will oversee WIPs and P&L, build client relationships, attend meetings, recruit and develop staff, and ensure quality, safety and environmental performance on site.

Qualifications

• Technically qualified with Apprenticeship/City & Guilds in electrical or mechanical trades.
• Experience in managing contracts/maintenance teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Technical support to client and engineering team.
• Manage quality procedures on site.
• Manage client relationships daily and attend meetings.
• Handle client requirements including additional projects/works.
• Recruitment and staff development; manage absenteeism and discipline.
• Produce reports and oversee other administrative duties.
• Identify and pursue additional business opportunities; manage H&S and environmental performance.

Contract Manager

£60,000 - £65,000

Brand new position for a Contract Manager to work for a rapidly growing building services provider! Great opportunity to expand your management skills, oversee a commercial portfolio, manage a team and succeed further in your career.

As a Contract Manager, you will oversee a commercial portfolio, work to set KPIs / SLAs, oversee and propose extra works and projects, provide technical support to your engineer team, oversee the Works In Progresses (WIPs) and Profit and Loss (P&L).

Contract Manager Duties:

• Technical supporting both the client and the engineering team
• Responsible for managing the company's quality procedures on site
• Management of client relationships on a daily basis.
• Attending client meetings
• Dealing with client's requirements including additional projects / works
• Recruitment
• Develop staff, annual appraisals etc
• Manage staff absenteeism and be responsible for disciplinary issues
• Reports
• Winning and managing additional business opportunities
• Responsible for the permit system.
• Responsible for managing the company's H&S and environmental performance on the contract.

Contract Manager Requirements:

• Technically qualified - Apprenticeship / City & Guilds qualifications in Electrical Installations / Mechanical Engineering / Air Conditioning / HVAC
• Experience in managing contracts / maintenance teams
• Personable and good people skills
• Driven and motivated
• Computer skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary and Package:

• £60,000 - £65,000 per annum
