Job summary

CT Fire Protection Ltd, part of Complii, is seeking a Contracts Manager to own and deliver fire sprinkler project contracts across domestic, residential and commercial sectors. The role is hands-on, requiring travel nationwide and a mix of home, office, and site work with 1–2 days in Burton Latimer.

You will oversee multiple projects, manage client relationships, ensure on-time delivery, budget control, and compliance with BS EN 12845 and related standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in project or contract management within the fire sprinkler industry or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of standards such as BS EN 12845, NFPA, FM, and BS5306 Part 2.
  • Confident leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage multiple fire sprinkler projects from concept through to completion, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
  • Act as main point of contact for clients and maintain strong relationships.
  • Support Operations Director with day-to-day running and decision making.
  • Lead, mentor and coordinate teams, subcontractors and trades safely and to a high standard.
  • Maintain project documentation, prepare progress reports and attend site/contract meetings.

Job description

We’re hiring a Contracts Manager to join our team at CT Fire Protection Ltd, based near Lutterworth.

Are you an experienced fire industry professional who thrives on taking ownership of client contracts and delivering exceptional service? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

You will be responsible for the successful delivery and management of multiple fire sprinkler projects across domestic, residential, and commercial sectors. Working closely with your colleagues, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the business, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest industry standards.

This is a flexible role offering a mix of home, office, and site-based work, requiring travel to sites nationwide. It’s an opportunity suited to a proactive and experienced professional who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and is confident managing both projects and client relationships. You’ll be required to be office based one to two days per week (Burton Latmier).

Here’s a look at some of the things you’ll be doing:
  • Oversee and manage multiple fire sprinkler projects from concept through to completion, ensuring delivery is on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining compliance with all relevant standards and regulations
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong working relationships, ensuring satisfaction, and handling any issues professionally and efficiently
  • Support the Operations Director in the day-to-day running of the business, contributing to operational decisions and assisting with general management responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and coordinate teams, subcontractors, and other trades, ensuring all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, prepare progress reports, attend site and contract meetings, and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
Can you show experience in some of these areas:
  • Proven experience in project or contract management within the fire sprinkler industry, with strong knowledge of standards such as BS EN 12845, NFPA, FM, and BS5306 Part 2 (or similar experience within the wider fire sector)
  • Confident leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work independently while also supporting a small, collaborative team
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate resources, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong commercial awareness, health & safety knowledge, and experience liaising with clients, design teams, and subcontractors
  • Hold (or willing to work towards) LPCB qualifications, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role and a full UK driving licence
