Job summary

CT Fire Protection Ltd is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Installations Engineer based from our Lutterworth area office with nationwide project work. You will install sprinkler pipework, heads, pumps and associated components to LPCB standards, while maintaining safety and high workmanship on commercial, industrial and residential developments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience installing fire sprinkler systems and reading technical drawings.
• Able to work safely on construction sites and in occupied premises.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away overnight when required.

Responsibilities

• Install fire sprinkler pipework, heads, valves, pumps and components per drawings and LPCB requirements.
• Carry out pressure testing, system checks and commissioning to ensure high standards.
• Liaise with site managers and other trades to deliver projects on time and to specification.

Based from our office in Lutterworth and working on projects nationwide, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality fire sprinkler installations across commercial, industrial and residential developments. Key areas of responsibility:

• Install fire sprinkler pipework, sprinkler heads, valves, pumps and associated components in accordance with drawings, specifications, LPCB requirements and company procedures
• Measure, cut, thread and assemble pipework, carrying out pressure testing, system checks and commissioning activities to ensure systems are installed to the highest standards
• Work safely and professionally on construction sites and within occupied premises, maintaining excellent housekeeping standards and adhering to all health and safety regulations
• Liaise effectively with site managers, supervisors and other trades whilst working independently and as part of a team to deliver projects on time and to specification

Experience required for the role:

• Proven experience installing fire sprinkler systems, with strong knowledge of sprinkler pipework, installation methods and associated equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans and specifications, with a thorough understanding of industry standards and safe working practices
• Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious, with the ability to work at height, travel nationwide and stay away overnight when required
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential. CSCS card and/or relevant fire sprinkler qualifications are desirable, alongside a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and continuous professional development
