Job Description

Our client is seeking a Contracts Manager to join their team on a 3 – 6 month Contract. The Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing the effective and efficient delivery of our client’s contract, taking full responsibility for all personnel working on that contract. The Contracts Manager must have proven experience specifically in either Mechanical or Electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities for the Contracts Manager:

• Lead and motivate project teams ensuring that policies and procedures are consistently applied throughout each area.
• Ensure that all work complies with contractual obligations, industry standards, and the company’s high standards.
• Ensure that client updates and communication are timely and accurate, and that accounting is transparent throughout the contract.
• Conduct and attend client meetings, interviews, and operational planning sessions.
• Establish strong networks both internally and externally.
• Monitor activities and contractors on site, ensuring all jobs are completed safely and in a timely manner.
• Act as a first point of contact in emergencies to ensure staff safety and mitigate potential damage to premises.

Skills Required for the Contracts Manager:

• Strong planning, organization, and monitoring abilities.
• Experience working on NEC 3-4 contracts.
• Experience in healthcare project delivery from a contract management perspective.
• Recognized Building Services Qualification – ONC / HNC in Building Services Engineering.
• Strong experience in programme and contract management.
• Solid mechanical and electrical systems background to understand systems for installation on designated projects.
