Wood is currently looking for a Contract Manager to join one of our key service lines within our Operations Business Stream - Upstream. In this role, you will provide guidance and direction to a team in the operational and commercial delivery of one or more customer contracts. This typically involves long-term contracts delivering services to customer assets or facilities, including production operations, maintenance, upgrades, and brownfield modifications to hardware and plant. You will oversee operational, strategic management, and delivery to support and drive the business plan at the contract level. Ensure Wood adheres to the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence; deliver business plans; and support business growth. Maximize the long-term customer relationship and commercial return by positioning Wood for contract extensions and renewals.
The postholder will develop solutions to strategic, contractual, technical, commercial, operational, and personnel challenges impacting customer service and performance. Maintain operational integrity and excellence, track and report on performance metrics, and steer improvements. Additionally, you will provide leadership and coaching to the contract team, developing capability, facilitating engagement, and supporting career progression.
Qualifications:
• Degree qualification in Engineering, Scientific Discipline, or related technical field OR a degree in a commercial/business discipline with significant experience in a technical organization.

• Successful delivery track record within relevant industry sector
• Broad industry understanding and networking capability
• Experience in customer/contractor facing communication and negotiation
• Relevant technical expertise applicable to the scope
