We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Contracts Manager to oversee and manage contracts within our Fire Door and Fire Protection Team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and excellent communication skills, enabling them to build effective relationships with customers, employees and supply chain. This role requires proficiency in Fire Door and Fire Protection processes and regulations, the ability to manage multiple sites and good commercial knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Health and Safety- Create a safe working environment in line with the MGN Safety ethos including the formulation of RAMS, development of Construction Phase Plans and delivery of toolbox talks.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to facilitate contract execution and address any issues that may arise.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to foster collaboration and ensure alignment on contract terms and deliverables.
• Drive the contract lifecycle from initiation through to completion, ensuring timely delivery of all contractual obligations.
• Manage documentation related to contracts, including programming, data collection, variations and assisting the commercial team with valuations.
• Provide leadership and guidance to team members on contract related matters, promoting best practices in Contract Management.
• Utilise IT systems to track contract performance metrics and generate reports for the directors.
• Collaborate with company directors to align contracts with project goals, timelines, and commercial outcomes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in contract management in this field is essential.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• A proactive approach to problem solving and the ability to drive initiatives forward independently.
• SMSTS as a minimum and experience of managing Health and Safety at site level.

This role will involve frequent travel as many of our customers have projects across the UK.
