Job summary

idverde is recruiting a Contract Supervisor for Bushy Park, London. You will report to the Contract Manager and help run day-to-day contract operations across grounds maintenance, landscaping and horticulture, ensuring adherence to H&S and company policies.

You will lead teams, train staff, coordinate scheduling and resources, and build strong client relationships. Strong communication, IT literacy, and a valid UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in grounds maintenance/landscaping is required.
• Strong communication, client management and IT literacy skills.
• Full UK driving licence is essential; tractor driving experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist in scheduling works and coordinate resources according to contract specifications and workload.
• Ensure teams are prepared with tools and machinery for the day ahead; conduct safety checks and order parts, PPE.
• Build and maintain client relationships; attend weekly contract meetings as needed.
• Mentor staff (including 121s), monitor progress, and lead by example.
• Monitor time and attendance; collate and process timesheets for payroll.
• Adhere to HR processes and manage employee relations issues with support from management.
