Job summary

Rock Recruitment is recruiting for a Contract EV Charger Installer Electrician in Coventry. You will install and commission EV charging points across social housing sites and tenants' homes, survey sites and ensure safe, compliant installations.

Working Monday to Friday, with no out-of-hours or emergency callouts, you will provide your own van and tools, and hold relevant electrical qualifications, including 18th Edition and AM2/NVQ 2.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrician with minimum 2 years' experience.
• Experience in domestic or social housing settings preferred.
• Knowledge of BS 7671 and electrical testing/inspection.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission EV charge points in social housing sites and tenants' homes.
• Survey sites, assess supply capacity, earthing and cable routes.
• Install circuits, protective devices and upgrade consumer units where needed.
• Conduct testing and handover of chargers with BS 7671 certification.
• Fault find and remediate existing EV installations.
• Ensure all work is safe, compliant and right first time.
