Redline Group Ltd invites an experienced Contract Embedded Software Engineer - Linux to deliver reliable, high-performance embedded software on mission-critical platforms near Greenwich. You will contribute across software architecture, real-time performance, and system validation, including GUI features with JavaScript/TypeScript/Node.js.

The role demands strong embedded C/C++ expertise, embedded Linux, RTOS experience, multi-threading, and hardware integration.

Competenze

• Strong commercial embedded C/C++ development experience.
• Proven Embedded Linux experience.
• Experience with RTOS such as VxWorks or FreeRTOS.
• Knowledge of multi-threading and real-time software principles.
• Experience with embedded hardware integration and Git.

Put your embedded software expertise to work on systems where reliability matters. Redline are seeking an experienced Contract Embedded Software Engineer - Linux to develop mission-critical systems for a leading technology company near Greenwich.

If you enjoy the challenge of making software and hardware work together, this contract offers hands‑on development across complex electronic platforms. You'll work alongside specialist engineers, contributing to software architecture, real-time performance and system validation - not just writing code in isolation.

Please note: this contract requires engagement through an umbrella company. PSC engagement is not available.

• Developing and maintaining reliable, high-performance embedded software in C/C++.
