Job summary

AndersElite in Reading seeks a highly skilled Multi-Skilled Electrical Biased Engineer for a temporary role of at least 3 months. The role covers planned preventive maintenance and reactive tasks, ensuring work complies with electrical, safety, health, environmental and quality standards.

The position offers pay up to £32 per hour umbrella or £24.24 per hour PAYE plus holiday pay. The candidate will maintain logbooks, perform maintenance and repairs, and work safely with the team.

Qualifications

• NVQ in Electrical is required.
• 18th Edition wiring regulations are required.
• Experience with PPM and reactive maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, lighting and power.
• Perform weekly fire alarm checks.
• Maintain logbooks of maintenance activities.
• Work with team to complete tasks safely and on time.
• Follow safety procedures and report incidents promptly.
• Assist in compiling reports and documentation.
