Job summary

HVAC Recruitment is seeking a Contract Electrical Engineer for Oxford to provide relief/cover on a modern commercial site. You will perform PPM and reactive maintenance to ensure safety, compliance and uninterrupted operations, working with a range of electrical plant.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in commercial building maintenance, NVQ Level 2/3 electrical installations, 17th/18th Edition, owns tools and PPE, and holds the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in commercial building maintenance.
• NVQ Level 2/3 Electrical Installations or equivalent.
• 17th/18th Edition.
• Own tools and PPE.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine electrical PPM in accordance with site task schedules and asset lists.
• Attend and complete reactive tasks throughout the building, including general fabric-related items.
• Fault find and remedy electrical defects promptly to keep plant in a serviceable condition.
• Complete job sheets, PPM records and reactive paperwork accurately and on time.
• Prepare and follow Method Statements and Risk Assessments, and work safely at all times.
• Report any defects, risks or recommended follow-up works to the relevant contact.
• Keep plant rooms secure, clean, tidy and locked when not in use.
