We are looking for a Manager to organise and supervise the unit in accordance with standards set by Compass Group UK & Ireland, the contract specification, and statutory regulations. You will be responsible for the efficient management of the unit, providing quality service, overseeing food preparation, cooking, and service to standards, and ensuring the optimal use of resources including stock, staff, and assets.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing strategic guidance and managing the team effectively
• Communicating, motivating, and guiding your management team and catering staff daily
• Taking responsibility for food quality and health & safety in the catering department
• Promoting the unit and acting as a Compass Advocate
• Managing internal and external stakeholder relationships
• Ensuring client hospitality standards are met and seeking feedback
• Identifying opportunities for service enhancement and innovation
• Managing budgets, monitoring trends, and implementing corrective actions as needed
• Ensuring customer requirements are met to expectations
