Job description

London - Working at one of the biggest and most renowned companies in the world.

Role Purpose:

Provision of comprehensive engineering support, maintaining systems within the London and regional portfolio, and mobilising new contracts as they arise. Have a detailed understanding of all current and new Building Services systems and contingency procedures within the buildings, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety/building codes of practice.

The Contract Delivery Manager is responsible for managing engineering teams, acting as a coordination point for daily activities across the portfolio, liaising with specialist service partners and project teams. Ensuring that all personnel conduct their work safely, professionally, and conscientiously.

Responsible for ensuring all activities (PPM, reactive tasks, breakdowns) within their portfolio are known and executed with regard to Health and Safety, maintaining 100% uptime. Also responsible for maintaining appropriate manning levels.

Maintain high standards of response to plant failures, completion of assigned work, and proficient handling of abnormal operating conditions and housekeeping issues.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain excellent client relationships at all levels.
  2. Plan, coordinate, and execute quarterly business reviews (QBR) for their region.
  3. Act as point of escalation for all engineering matters, working closely with Senior FM’s.
  4. Build and oversee audit and quality management procedures, working with Property and Engineering teams to address audit actions. Serve as POC/support for site engineering audits.
  5. Oversee planned and reactive maintenance for all assets in the client's CAFM system, ensuring compliance with maintenance regimes and pre-qualification of subcontractors.
  6. Collaborate with Engineering Managers to analyze PPM and asset data, identifying opportunities for efficiencies, cost savings, and contract growth through additional services.
  7. Support compliance updates, act as POC for site compliance logs, and ensure timely closure of risk matters.
  8. Coordinate statutory inspections with the client.
  9. Ensure completion of internal audits per company policies.
  10. Provide subcontractor control for the site-wide FM operation.
  11. Analyze service failures and implement resilient remedial actions.
  12. Maintain service levels according to SLAs and KPIs, monitoring and closing out PPM work orders promptly.
  13. Report quarterly financial performance of the contract.
  14. Oversee project delivery, ensuring timely completion certificates for invoicing.
  15. Manage Work in Progress to stay within budget.
  16. Report regularly to the Account Director on contract financials and provisions.
  17. Ensure parts are accurately stated, and engineering issues communicated to customers.
  18. Support site sustainability initiatives.
  19. Identify shortfalls or additional labor needs to meet SLA requirements.
  20. Coordinate all near-miss, incident, and accident reports within their area.
  21. Complete all required training as per contract obligations.
