Job summary

Contechs are recruiting on behalf of an innovative Automotive OEM for a Composite Technician on a 6-month contract at their Rotherham facility. You will manufacture RTM panels, perform composite lay-up, mould preparation, resin injection, and finishing activities to specified manufacturing instructions.

Applicants should have prior experience in a composite manufacturing environment with knowledge of RTM, lay-up and mould prep, and the ability to follow detailed specifications while maintaining

Qualifications

• Experience in a composite manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of RTM, lay-up, mould preparation or similar composite production processes.
• Ability to work from detailed manufacturing instructions and process specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Experience completing production documentation and traceability records.
• Good understanding of health, safety, and quality procedures within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture RTM panels and composite components in line with approved manufacturing instructions and specifications.
• Carry out composite lay-up, mould preparation, resin injection, and finishing activities.
• Prepare materials, tooling, and equipment for both production and development activities.
• Complete and maintain accurate production, quality, and traceability records.
• Monitor manufacturing processes and report any defects, deviations, or equipment issues.
• Support material, tooling, and process development trials while maintaining a safe and organised working environment.
