Job summary

Contechs are recruiting on behalf of an automotive OEM to fill a Contract Composite Technician role at its Rotherham facility. You will manufacture RTM panels and composite components, perform lay-up, mould preparation, resin injection, and ensure quality records and traceability.

This 6-month contract requires attention to detail, health and safety adherence, and the ability to follow detailed manufacturing instructions.

Qualifications

• Experience in a composite manufacturing environment.
• Experience with RTM, lay-up, or mould preparation.
• Ability to follow detailed manufacturing instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Experience completing production documentation and traceability records.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and quality procedures in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture RTM panels and composite components per approved instructions.
• Carry out composite lay-up, mould preparation, resin injection, and finishing.
• Prepare materials, tooling and equipment for production and development.
• Maintain accurate production, quality, and traceability records.
• Monitor manufacturing processes and report defects or issues.
• Support development trials while maintaining a safe, organized environment.
