Job summary

Rullion is seeking a Contract Engineering Lead - Building Design in Bristol with hybrid working (3 days on site). The role oversees and coordinates the design delivery of a major building design package across multiple disciplines, managing interfaces between contract partners, project teams and stakeholders.

The candidate should have a degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural/Process or Mechanical Engineering, Chartered status, and proven experience in large multidisciplinary infrastructure

Qualifications

• A Degree-qualified Engineer in Civil, Structural, Architectural, Process or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional Chartered status is preferred.
• Strong experience in design management on large-scale multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of UK legislation CDM 2015.
• Experience in nuclear or highly regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical management and leadership across engineering contracts.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design activities across parallel workstreams.
• Ensure design deliverables meet specifications, programme requirements and milestones.
• Manage surveillance of detailed design activities.
• Lead resolution of complex cross-programme engineering issues and risks.
• Maintain robust configuration control processes.
• Coordinate design reviews, gateway requirements and constructability reviews.
• Manage stakeholder comments during design reviews and manage changes.
