EMBS Engineering is recruiting an Applications Test Engineer for a 6–12 month on-site contract in Derbyshire. You will test Windows-based applications in complex networking environments, ensuring functionality, usability and integration with network devices before release.
The role requires hands-on testing of Windows/.NET desktop apps, with relevance to networking systems, SNMP, and device management. SC/DV clearance is preferred and the project requires full onsite presence.

Contract: Initial 6-12 Months
Day Rate: Negotiable DOE
IR35: Outside IR35
Security Clearance: Current SC/DV clearance is preferred. Candidates whose SC/DV clearance has been placed on hold within the last 12 months may also be considered, subject to eligibility for transfer/reactivation.
We're supporting a specialist technology and engineering business in Derbyshire with the appointment of an experienced Applications Test Engineer for an initial 6-12 month contract.
You'll be testing Windows-based applications used within complex networking and communications environments. This is a hands-on testing role covering everything from application functionality and usability through to integration with network-connected devices.
You'll work alongside software and systems engineers within an established technical team, helping ensure applications and associated systems perform reliably before release.
