Job summary

ITV Insights Group in London (White City) seeks an Analytics Engineer to drive robust SQL-based pipelines and data products. You will collaborate with analysts and data scientists to enable key business decisions and optimise dashboards.

The role focuses on data quality, UAT, and migrating legacy processes to modern data platforms. A 12-month fixed-term contract with 2 days in the office is offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in data analytics, data engineering, or analytics engineering.
• Advanced SQL: write complex, performant, clean code.
• Design, build and automate robust ELT/ETL pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Champion analytics engineering best practices and robust SQL pipelines.
• Maintain KPI pipeline and integrate Dataform with GitHub for version control.
• Design data quality checks and automated tests with Slack alerts.
• Support UAT on new data products with the Central Data team.
• Collaborate to build and optimise tables for dashboards.
• Migrate legacy processes to BigQuery notebooks and pipelines.
• Rebuild ITVX streaming data as a robust dimensional model using dbt.
• Explore new data sources and automate API connections for pipelines.
• Bridge data and business value by standardising core metrics.
