Job summary

ITV London is seeking a data analytics/engineering professional for a 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract. The role is based in London with an expectation of 2 days in the office at White City.

You will develop data products to support analytics priorities, collaborating with the Head of Analytics and central teams to standardise data models and metrics. You will design robust ELT/ETL pipelines, implement data quality checks, and migrate legacy processes to modern data platforms like BigQuery

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or analytics engineering
• Advanced SQL proficiency; capable of writing complex, performant, clean code
• Experience designing, building, and automating robust ELT/ETL pipelines and data products

Responsibilities

• Champion analytics engineering best practices within the Insights team by designing and structuring robust, SQL-based analytical pipelines.
• Maintain the M&E KPI pipeline and connect Dataform to GitHub for version control.
• Design and implement data quality checks and automated tests with proactive Slack alerts for pipeline issues.
• Support the Central Data team to conduct User Acceptance Testing on new data products.
• Collaborate with analysts to design, build, and optimise tables for fast dashboards.
• Drive migration of legacy processes to BigQuery notebooks and pipelines to reduce costs and improve queries.
