Job summary

Trade Mastermind in Peterborough is seeking a Continuous Improvement Operations Manager to map current operations and drive scalable Lean processes. You will work with senior leaders to bring clarity and efficiency, setting the stage for a Lean-led future in a growing startup environment.

You will lead the transformation, coach leaders, and partner with a Business Analyst to document and optimise workflows across divisions. This is a pivotal role in shaping our operational DNA.

Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt desirable.
• Experience with PRINCE2 or Agile project environments.
• Knowledge of Kotter, ADKAR and GROW models for change leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assess current operational processes across divisions.
• Deliver strategic recommendations to scale operations within 6–12 months.
• Collaborate with a Business Analyst to map and document processes.
• Coach senior leadership to embed a continuous improvement mindset.
• Lead Lean (DMAIC) optimisation after the initial assessment.

We’re looking for a strategic and experienced Continuous Improvement Operations Manager to help shape the future of how we operate.

Role Overview

This is a career-defining opportunity for a continuous improvement leader who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You’ll play a central role in mapping our current operational landscape, driving clarity and efficiency, and laying the foundations for scalable systems and processes. Working closely with senior leadership, you’ll bring structure to our startup momentum and lead our evolution toward a Lean-led operational model.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a full assessment of the “as is” operational processes across all Trade Mastermind divisions.
• Deliver strategic recommendations to scale operations and achieve greater clarity within 6–12 months.
• Collaborate with a Business Analyst to coordinate documentation, mapping, and administrative functions.
• Coach and influence senior leadership to embed a continuous improvement mindset across the organisation.
• After the initial assessment phase, lead the business through structured Lean (DMAIC) optimisation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt highly desirable.
• Experience with PRINCE2 or Agile project environments.
• Working knowledge of Kotter, ADKAR, and GROW models, particularly relating to change management and leadership coaching.
