Job summary

Trade Mastermind in Peterborough is seeking a Continuous Improvement Operations Manager to shape the operational foundation and drive long-term excellence. You will partner with senior leaders to assess operations, map processes, and deliver Lean-driven improvements that scale across the organisation, combining strategic planning with hands-on delivery.

You’ll lead continuous improvement initiatives, embed Lean principles, and drive efficiency, accountability, and growth across the company.

Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt minimum (Black Belt highly desirable).
• Experience delivering end-to-end improvement projects.
• Strong knowledge of change management and continuous improvement frameworks.
• Experience working within PRINCE2, Agile, or similar project environments.
• Ability to coach, challenge, and influence senior leaders.
• A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to delivery.

Trade Mastermind is entering an exciting phase of growth across our three core divisions: Trade Group Services, We Scale Trades, and our Training Academy. As we continue to scale, we're looking for an experienced Continuous Improvement Operations Manager to help build the systems, processes, and operational structure required to support our ambitious plans.

The Role

This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing business at a pivotal stage of its journey. You'll partner closely with senior leadership to assess current operations, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop a roadmap that creates greater efficiency, scalability, and accountability across the organisation.

Initially, you'll focus on understanding our existing ways of working, documenting processes, and delivering strategic recommendations. As the business evolves, you'll lead continuous improvement initiatives and embed Lean principles to drive long-term operational excellence.

What You'll Bring

You'll be an experienced continuous improvement professional with a strong track record of delivering change and operational transformation. You will have practical experience of Lean methodologies and be confident influencing stakeholders at all levels.

We're looking for someone with:
