Job summary

Reevr Talent Ltd in Hitchin, Hertfordshire is seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to lead site-wide Lean initiatives, drive operational excellence, and embed a culture of high-performing teams across the site.

You will coach Green Belts, lead Kaizen and A3 problem-solving activities, and act as the key interface between the site and the wider business on Lean matters, delivering measurable cost savings and improved performance across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as CI Manager or similar in manufacturing.
• Lean Sigma qualification is essential; Black Belt desirable.
• Experience delivering measurable improvements and cost savings.
• Manufacturing experience, ideally high-mix, low-volume.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving change.
• Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient with project management tools and MS Office.

Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 per annum Bonus Excellent Benefits

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Working Pattern: Onsite, 5 Days per Week

We are seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to join a leading manufacturing organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven Continuous Improvement Manager to lead continuous improvement initiatives, drive operational excellence, and embed a culture of high-performing teams across the site.

Key Responsibilities for the Continuous Improvement Manager

• Lead all Lean and Continuous Improvement activities across the site.
• Drive the deployment and maturity of High-Performing Teams (HPTs) across all functions.
• Deliver measurable business improvements and cost savings through Lean Sigma projects and improvement initiatives.
• Lead Business Continuity and Risk Management activities across the site.
• Coach and develop Green Belts while supporting Kaizen and A3 problem‑solving activities.
• Act as the key interface between the site and wider business on all Lean and improvement matters.
• Analyse business processes and implement sustainable improvements that enhance productivity, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
• Support strategy deployment and ensure effective execution of site objectives.
• Lead cross‑functional improvement projects and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

Key Requirements for the Continuous Improvement Manager

• Proven experience as a Continuous Improvement Manager, Lean Manager, Site Lean Leader, Operational Excellence Manager, or similar leadership role within manufacturing.
• Lean Sigma qualification essential; Black Belt highly desirable.
• Strong track record of delivering measurable operational improvements and cost savings.
• Manufacturing experience is essential, ideally within a high‑mix, low‑volume environment.
• Previous experience leading cross‑functional teams and driving cultural change.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Proficient in project management tools and Microsoft Office applications.
