Qualifications

• Hands-on shop-floor presence in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong blueprint reading skills and ability to read complex drawings.
• Good computer literacy and commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication across all business levels.

Responsibilities

• Spend significant time on the shop floor analysing current engineering processes, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing practical method improvements.
• Coordinate shop-floor CI activities, track progress, and report key metrics to the Senior Management Team.
• Work with senior managers to plan, lead, and execute operational changes that support business growth.
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications to ensure manufacturing feasibility and process compliance.
• Champion a safety-first culture and enforce 5S standards across the facility.

The Role

You will be actively working on the shop floor, partnering closely with production teams and senior leadership to identify efficiencies, streamline manufacturing methods, and drive business growth.
