They require a Continuous Improvement Manager is needed for a leading player in the Transport & Distribution industry. The right candidate should have a focus on driving efficiency and improvement within a logistics environment and based in Bristol.

Job Description

The Continuous Improvement Manager will cover the following.

  • Driving continuous improvement in the logistics division.
  • Leading and managing a team to achieve operational targets.
  • Developing and implementing strategies for efficiency.
  • Overseeing the logistics processes to ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to improve the logistics network.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry and company standards.
  • Tracking and reporting on logistics performance metrics.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks in the logistics department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Continuous Improvement Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in a CI capacity role.
  • Strong knowledge of continuous improvement processes in a logistics setting.
  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge and awareness
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and systems.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.

What's on Offer

  • Salary range: £38,000 - £42,000 per annum
  • Working hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday
  • 5% performance bonus
