Job summary

Doncasters Group is seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager at Chard Precision Castings, Chard, Somerset. You will drive site-wide CI initiatives using Lean, VSM, and Six Sigma to enhance productivity, cut costs, and deliver sustainable savings.

Collaboration with Production, Engineering and Quality is essential to embed continuous improvement across the site. The role requires Kaizen experience, strong leadership, and ability to educate teams on lean principles while delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial, manufacturing or mechanical engineering.
• Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt training and/or certificate.

Responsibilities

• Identify, lead and implement site-wide CI initiatives.
• Drive Lean, Value Stream Mapping and Six Sigma to reduce costs.
• Coach Green Belts and mentor improvement projects.
• Monitor CI activities and report savings to stakeholders.
• Support Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions.
