Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is hiring a Continuous Improvement Engineer (Lean Manufacturing) for our Ripley site. The role focuses on leading lean improvement, overseeing safety, and maintaining critical manufacturing documentation.

The candidate will drive process refinement, apply SPC and GMP standards, and report to the Systems Manager while contributing to ISO compliance and continuous production excellence.

Are you a Continuous Improvement Engineer or similar with experience working alongside Lean Manufacturing looking to become the go to technical expert within one of the most efficient production lines in the UK?

Founded nearly 100 years ago, this global business specializes in the manufacturing of a wide range of solutions within their industry. Priding themselves on their international success, they have over 10 sites across 26 countries, they have clear goals to be the giant within their niche industry.

In this pivotal role you will be responsible for all components off the manufacturing on the production line and shopfloor, using data analysis, SPC and GMP standards. Reporting directly to the Systems Manager you will carry out risk assessments and oversee Health and Safety, along with this you will maintain all relative documentation and ensure all ISO standards are complied with.

This role would suit a Continuous Improvement Engineer or similar looking to join one the best ran businesses in the UK.

The Role:

• Overseeing all Health and Safety aspects of production
• Working towards lean methodologies
• Maintaining all accurate documentation
• Supporting projects and leading structured problem solving
• Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 4:45 - 3:35 finish on Friday
