We are working with a top-tier law firm based in London for a Lawyer to join their Contentious Tax team.

The Role:

The successful candidate will join an innovative contentious Tax team, working on various matters including tax litigation, direct and indirect tax issues, judicial review, and HMRC remedies, on a national and cross-border basis.

The candidate should be experienced in handling tax matters within tribunals and courts. Additionally, the candidate will supervise and mentor junior members of the firm. Clients include public sector bodies, institutional investors, and listed companies.

• 7+ years’ PQE
• Tax litigation background
• Experience handling Tax Tribunal proceedings
• Technically excellent
• Strong communication and organisation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
