Job summary

Law Staff is seeking a Contentious Probate Solicitor with knowledge of Contentious Probate Litigation to join a Legal 500, CQS and Lexcel accredited firm. You’ll be part of a growing team, handling a varied caseload within a supportive, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload commensurate with a full-time fee earner
• Conduct pre-action investigations, legal research, and initial case assessments
• Advise clients on a range of contentious matters
• Draft pleadings, statements of case, and pre-issue documentation, and file with the court
• Undertake administrative responsibilities, deadlines, and case management
• Attend court hearings and conferences, with or without counsel
• Organise and prepare exhibits, documentation, and briefs
• Gather and analyse information from various sources
• Liaise with internal teams and external third parties
• Assist with complex or high-value claims led by other fee earners
• Supervise and support junior colleagues
