Contentious Probate Senior Associate Solicitor

6+ years PQE

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Associate Solicitor to join a Contentious Private Client team, where you can progress and develop your career. The team acts for a range of HNW clients in contentious trusts and probate work.

This Legal 500 law firm in Dorset is looking for a 6+ years' PQE Contentious Trust & Probate Solicitor to join a busy private client team that is expanding, in this critical hire. The firm has an ambitious strategy and a strong management team to provide the right support for career progression.

You will handle a varied caseload and build trusted, long-term relationships with clients, including contested private, probate & trust claims, and Court of Protection work.

Key responsibilities include sharing responsibility for the management and training of staff, as well as developing and marketing the department.

This role offers a hybrid working pattern, combining office work with remote working from home.

Your role as a Contentious Wills & Probate Senior Associate Solicitor will involve:

1. Providing a clear career path from the outset
2. Supervising, managing, and supporting the development of junior solicitors
3. Business development and networking to gain new clients
