Job summary

IDEX Consulting Ltd. in Edinburgh is recruiting a Civil Litigation Solicitor to take ownership of a civil caseload with a focus on contentious private client matters, including wills, estates and inheritance.

Qualifications

• Solicitor with experience in civil litigation.
• Up to 10 years' PQE, with contentious private client experience an advantage.
• Confident managing a caseload independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communicator who can handle sensitive disputes with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own civil litigation caseload with a focus on contentious private client disputes.
• Advise clients on disputes involving wills, estates, succession and inheritance, alongside broader civil matters.
• Handle court actions, prepare legal documentation and undertake court appearances.
• Collaborate with clients, Counsel and other advisers to progress matters.
• Build strong client relationships and contribute to practice growth.
