About the Job

We are instructed by a leading global law firm recruiting a junior to mid-level Construction Disputes Lawyer to join the firm's London office.

Contentious Construction - Lawyer / Solicitor - Competitive salary

The Role

The firm is a multinational law firm, offering a full range of legal services across corporate, litigation, real estate and construction, employment and restructuring.

The firm’s highly regarded construction team has expertise in large-scale high value construction, engineering infrastructure and energy disputes both in the UK and internationally. The team is experienced in all relevant forums – adjudication, arbitration, expert determination, litigation, and international arbitration acting on behalf of professionals, employers, contractors and specialist subcontractors.

The Construction Group is looking for an ambitious lawyer to join as Associate with experience in Contentious Construction law and expertise in the most popular standard forms of construction contracts and disputes relating to payment issues, change, defects, termination and professional negligence.

The Candidate

  • Construction Solicitor with 2-4 post qualification experience from a reputable firm
  • Experience in Construction, Infrastructure and Engineering disputes
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organisation skills
  • Commercially aware with enthusiasm for business development
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and on your own initiative
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills
  • Strong academic background
