The Role:

Primary responsibilities include translating and transcreating content from English to French, proofreading, and editing French content. The candidate should be creative, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a background in translation, linguistics, journalism, or related fields. Reporting to the Content Team Manager, working alongside a team of 10 writers and translators.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Translate content from English to French (promotions, emails, newsletters, terms & conditions, etc.)
• Transcreate SEO content and social media copy for casino and sports betting products
• Translate new website content
• Proofread, edit, and update existing content

Person Specifications:

• French as a first language and fluency in English (essential)
• Excellent writing skills and impeccable grammar (essential)
• Experience in translation and/or localisation (essential)
• Good organisational skills (essential)
• Degree in foreign languages/translation/journalism/creative writing (desirable)
• Understanding of marketing techniques (desirable)
• Experience in the gaming industry (desirable)
• Basic knowledge of HTML and translation software (advantage)
• Hybrid work arrangement (2 remote days, 3 in-office days)
• Work from abroad up to 4 weeks/year
