The Content Writer will be responsible for producing high-quality, engaging, and informative content across a variety of platforms. This role calls for a creative and strategic thinker with excellent writing skills, a strong eye for detail, and a clear understanding of the MoneyPlus brand voice and messaging.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in copywriting, content creation, and writing for SEO and CRO purposes. A passion for storytelling and a customer-first mindset are essential. This individual must be proactive in understanding the financial services sector, staying informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and cultural, political, and economic developments.

They should feel confident managing content briefs, as well as creating their own, and be comfortable producing content that supports the wider MoneyPlus content strategy and contributes to business goals.

What do we need you to do?

• Write high-quality copy for site pages, ensuring accuracy and alignment with SEO and CRO strategies
• Research, develop, write, and upload blog content that resonates with our audience and supports performance goals
• Work closely with the Head of Performance and Marketing Manager to ensure content aligns with SEO goals
• Develop and roll out central campaign copy across multiple content outputs, including social media captions, paid media assets, and email copy
• Own centralised messaging themes for use across multiple channels
• Write compelling, engaging, and informative video scripts
• Contribute to campaign ideation and planning
• Maintain and champion the MoneyPlus tone of voice across all customer-facing content
• Edit and proofread content and press releases from internal teams and supporting agencies to maintain quality and consistency
• Manage multiple tasks and content deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Produce relevant, on-brand written content quickly and efficiently
• Support the creation of call scripts and customer communication documents, ensuring tone of voice is consistent and appropriate
• Stay up to date with compliance regulations, ensuring all content is approved and aligned with internal policies and procedures

What skills and experience do we need you to have?

• 3+ years of experience in content writing, copywriting or related field.
• Experience within Financial Services (or other highly regulated industry) with a strong consumer focus is preferred.
• Demonstrable passion for Financial Services, Debt Advice & Money Savings topics.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong research skills and the ability to produce well-researched content.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS)
• Ability to manage multiple projects & meet deadlines in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to think strategically and creatively, and with a passion for storytelling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eager to learn and proactive in sharing thoughts, ideas and recommendations.
• Proactive, positive & with a can-do spirit.
