Are you passionate about travel and creating engaging content? Booking.com is looking for a dynamic SEO Executive / Editorial Writer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing high-quality destination and travel-related content for our website and app, playing a key role in enhancing our online presence across key markets.
What you'll do:
- Craft a significant quantity of engaging destination and travel content for Booking.com's platforms, aligned with the current SEO strategy.
- Conduct thorough research to ensure the accuracy and quality of all content.
- Contribute to the performance and success of Booking.com's blog and wider site content.
- Administrate and organize our travel blog portfolio, staying updated on the latest travel trends and insights.
- Work independently and collaboratively with colleagues across different offices to meet ambitious quarterly goals.
- Produce content directly and work with internal/external teams on large-scale campaigns.
- Ensure content adheres to health metrics, SLAs, stakeholder briefs, style guides, and brand guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support SEO content marketing objectives.
- Create and curate content for the travel blog portfolio.
- Develop content briefs for internal and external teams.
- Conduct research to identify brand engagement opportunities.
- Manage blog administration.
- Communicate with stakeholders in line with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with localization teams for regional audiences.
- Work independently with support from senior managers and SEO specialists.
- Coordinate and deliver end-to-end projects.
- Perform competitor research to analyze content strategies.
- Own the copy through research of reliable sources.
- Respond positively and constructively to feedback from editors, peers and stakeholders.
- Assist with proofreading and editing high volumes of content at speed, while still retaining the writer's/brand's voice.
- Report on progress and deliverables.

Level of Education
- Bachelor degree, or equivalent relevant experience
Years of relevant Job Knowledge
- Working experience (2 - 3 years minimum)
- Professional experience, either in-house, consultancy or agency
- Provable experience with direct content production, and management of content production processes
Requirements Of Special Knowledge/skills
- A background in professional content writing, editing and proofreading, preferably within an e-commerce and B2C environment.
- Working experience of localisation processes in languages other than english.
- Experience of working at scale in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to maintain quality across high volumes of work with tight deadlines.
- Flawless written English, with impeccable spelling, grammar and punctuation.
- A meticulous approach, with a focus on accuracy and a keen eye for detail.
- Proactive, able to work independently and prioritise effectively.
- A confident and tactful communicator who builds strong relationships with writers, editors and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure, and be capable of adapting and responding to changing situations.
- Positive, adaptable and unflappable in the face of changing processes, tasks and tools.
- Second languages are not essential, but beneficial for this role.
