Job summary

Salt is seeking a senior Content Strategist for a UK-based project with remote flexibility. The contract runs 2–20 November, with meetings in London if required.

The role focuses on content strategy, information architecture, governance, and content discoverability for a high-profile website and digital experience transformation. Deliverables include stakeholder interviews, content audits, content model recommendations for a headless CMS, IA input, and contribution to a brand/KPIs workshop.

Qualifications

• Senior content strategist or strategy director for large corporate/financial services sites.
• Experience conducting content audits and stakeholder interviews.
• Experience writing content models and governance for a headless CMS.
• Contentful experience is a plus.
• Ability to structure content for discoverability by search engines and LLMs (AEO/GEO).
• Confidently present to senior client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead stakeholder interviews with the CX lead and synthesize themes.
• Audit current website content for structure, quality, duplication, tone and governance.
• Develop content strategy principles and model recommendations for headless CMS.
• Contribute to information architecture and future-state journeys.
• Support client goals, KPIs and brand workshop.

Content Strategist

UK-based (remote is fine, but must be able to travel to London for meetings if required)

Paying up to £500 a day OUTSIDE IR35 (TBC)

I'm supporting a project with a leading global asset management brand and were looking for a senior Content Strategist to join a high-profile website and digital experience transformation.

Contract runs initially from 2-20 November (approx 12.5 working days), with a focus on content strategy, information architecture, governance, and content discoverability.

Deliverables

• Co-lead the stakeholder interviews (up to 6) with the CX lead, and synthesise them into key themes.
• Content audit of the current website covering structure, quality, duplication, tone and governance.
• Content strategy principles and recommendations for the content model in a headless CMS (Contentful).
• Content input to the information architecture and future-state journeys.
• Contribute to an all-day goals, KPIs and brand workshop with the client.

Skillset

• Senior content strategist or strategy director with experience of large, complex corporate or financial services websites.
• Has run content audits and stakeholder interviews.
• Has written content models and governance for a headless CMS.
• Contentful is ideal.
• Understands how content needs to be structured to be found by search engines and LLMs (AEO and GEO).
• Confident presenting to senior client stakeholders.
