Content Producer

Are you a technically minded Digital Content Producer with strong SEO skills and experience creating, publishing and optimising content for large-scale websites?

We're working with a major international organisation looking for an experienced Digital Content Producer to join its digital marketing team on an initial 12-month contract.

This is a hands‑on role combining web content production, CMS publishing, SEO and digital content optimisation, with the opportunity to work on emerging AI‑driven search technologies.

We're looking for someone who understands more than just great copywriting. You'll know how to build, structure and optimise web pages to improve search visibility, user engagement and overall content performance.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for:

• Creating, building, publishing and maintaining digital content across a large‑scale consumer website.
• Applying on‑page SEO best practices, including metadata, heading structures, internal linking and keyword optimisation.
• Identifying content gaps and opportunities to improve existing web pages.
• Using keyword research, content audits and performance insights to inform content improvements.
• Optimising content for traditional search engines and emerging AI‑powered search experiences.
• Working with SEO, analytics, marketing and editorial teams to deliver high‑quality digital content.
• Managing content through the full publishing lifecycle, from initial brief through to publication and ongoing optimisation.
• Ensuring web content is well‑structured, accessible, accurate and aligned with brand guidelines.
• Monitoring content performance and contributing to improvements in organic visibility and engagement.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years' experience in digital content production with a strong focus on SEO.
• Proven hands‑on experience using enterprise Content Management Systems (CMS) to build, edit and publish web pages.
• Strong understanding of on‑page SEO, content optimisation, metadata, internal linking and website structure.
• Experience conducting content audits, keyword research and identifying opportunities to improve organic search performance.
• Ability to interpret SEO data and analytics to inform content decisions.
• Excellent written communication and copywriting skills, with the ability to produce clear, engaging, user‑focused content.
• Experience working on large‑scale, high‑traffic websites, ideally within a consumer‑facing organisation.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple content updates and publishing deadlines.
• Comfortable working collaboratively with technical, marketing and editorial teams.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with enterprise CMS platforms and modular content publishing.
• Understanding of Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) or AI‑driven search.
• Familiarity with HTML, structured content and technical SEO principles.
• Experience using enterprise SEO tools, keyword research platforms and analytics dashboards.
• Experience delivering content for international audiences.
