Our client, a leading provider of data and information services to the automotive industry, is part of a global organisation with a successful track record in the automotive aftermarket. The Content Marketing Manager role is part of their European operation, based at their modern headquarters in Cologne. As a Content Marketing Manager, you will develop and execute the content marketing strategy for Europe to increase brand awareness. The role requires fluency in both German and English. In return, you’ll receive a competitive salary, bonus, and opportunities for rewards and recognition.

Salary: Basic salary €58,000 to €75,000 depending on experience, plus 10% bonus

  • Understanding of digital marketing trends and emerging technologies.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop content aligned with brand messaging and goals.
  • Create engaging content such as blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, and social media posts following brand guidelines.
  • Conduct research to stay ahead of industry trends and develop thought leadership content.
  • Target content to specific audiences within the automotive industry.
  • Identify opportunities for content repurposing and scaling.
  • Manage relationships with PR and creative agencies, partners, and journalists.
  • Work with the digital marketing manager to optimise content for SEO and increase organic traffic.
  • Maintain editorial calendars to ensure timely content delivery.
  • Oversee localisation of content campaigns primarily in DACH, the UK, and other European countries.
  • Analyse content performance metrics and use insights for future strategy.
