Overview

Content Marketing Executive, Altrincham — up to £33,000. We’re currently working with a fast-growing professional services business based in Altrincham that’s on the lookout for a Content Marketing Executive to join their growing in-house marketing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a couple of years' experience in digital or content marketing who’s looking to take more ownership of content strategy across a wide range of formats and channels. You won’t just be writing blog posts, you’ll be the guardian of brand voice across everything from landing pages to animations, customer stories to social campaigns. If you\'re passionate about content that drives visibility, performance, and customer engagement and you\'re comfortable working across teams and channels, this could be your next big step.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Planning, writing, and publishing engaging, SEO-informed content across blogs, landing pages, email, and social media
• Developing and managing content calendars that align with wider marketing campaigns and product goals
• Working with SEO tools and internal stakeholders to improve organic visibility and search rankings
• Producing thought leadership, customer success stories, and sector-specific materials
• Collaborating with design, sales, and compliance teams to ensure accuracy and alignment
• Supporting paid media and marketing automation teams with on-brand copy
• Analysing content performance via tools like GA4 and SEMrush to inform content decisions

What you’ll need

• 2+ years’ experience in a content marketing or digital marketing role, ideally within Professional Services or Fintech
• Strong copywriting and editing skills with a sharp eye for grammar and detail
• Solid understanding of SEO principles and content optimisation
• Ability to translate technical or financial topics into clear, customer-friendly content
• Experience using CMS platforms such as WordPress
• Comfortable using data to guide and improve content strategy
