Job summary

SER Limited hires a Content Specialist to join its marketing team at the head office in South Cheshire. You will develop and deliver engaging content across social, press, case studies, emails and literature, adapting style for diverse audiences and channels.

With 3+ years in content/marketing, you’ll manage campaigns, liaise with media, support PR, and contribute to exhibitions and events while maintaining brand voice and SEO alignment.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar content or marketing role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong English proficiency.
• Proven copywriting and proofreading skills.
• Experience writing content aligned with SEO guidelines.
• Familiarity with Adobe InDesign and Adobe Acrobat.
• Strong IT skills and ability to use a range of software packages.
• Flexible, team-focused approach and ability to manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging content for social media, press releases, case studies, email campaigns and company literature.
• Build and maintain relationships with national press and media contacts.
• Develop and manage media schedules and content planners with regular updates.
• Write, proofread and edit marketing materials for tone and consistency.
• Support PR initiatives and seek opportunities to raise brand awareness.
• Produce advertising materials, promotional content and e-shots.
• Research markets, products, competitors and customers for growth opportunities.

We’re looking for a talented and motivated Content Specialist to join a growing marketing team based at the head office South Cheshire.

This is a varied role where you’ll support the development and delivery of the wider marketing strategy, creating compelling content across multiple channels, including social media, press releases, case studies, email campaigns and company literature.
