Job description

We're the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), an industry association representing the global private sector in Travel & Tourism. We work to maximise the inclusive and sustainable growth of the Travel & Tourism sector through strategic relationships with governments, destinations, communities and other key stakeholders. We help spread the power of sustainable Travel & Tourism and the positive impact it can have on livelihoods and communities across the globe.

We are looking to recruit a Content Manager. WTTC produces a range of content including speeches, talking points, and reports. We are looking for someone to help us better manage the delivery of this content. This is a visible role focused on implementing the content strategy for the organisation while ensuring content is engaging, accurate, and consistent. To be successful in this role, you will need to be a strong cross-functional collaborator who employs strategic thinking. You will need to pay keen attention to detail while also having the flexibility to deliver on tight timelines as needed. Reports To: Content & Programme Director

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project manage speeches
  • Manage speech trackers (CEO and non-CEO speeches and talking points)
  • Ensure all speeches and talking points are updated in the shared folders
  • Create first drafts of speeches and talking points or review those created by an agency
  • Manage and/or support with agency briefings
  • Ensure internal content alignment on talking points and PowerPoints. This will involve constant checking of PowerPoints and keeping master documents updated
  • Project manage reports
  • Maintain interview trackers and interview books
  • Liaise with internal teams to keep project on track
  • Help manage authors and team writing the report
  • Regularly research new developments in Travel & Tourism
  • Keep abreast of talking points and focus areas in Travel & Tourism (both global and in regions around the world)
  • Support content creation for Together in Travel
